Hurst Advances to Tennis Sectional Championship

October 8, 2008 - Knightstown High School senior tennis player Mike Hurst defeated his Tri High opponent and advanced to the number one singles championship match of the New Castle Sectional.

Hurst will play in the sectional championship at New Castle tonight (Wednesday) against a still-to-be determined opponent. Hurst won his first round game and received a bye in the second round.

Coach Darrin Haines has been working closely with Hurst to help his prepare for the match.
