 Horth Wins Mental Attitude Award; Heim Most Valuable Player

June 4, 2008 - The Varsity and Junior Varsity recently had their awards banquet at Applebee's in New Castle.

All 16 players were in attendance. Varsity letters were given to seniors Laura McCaffrey, Nicole Newell and Megan Grant; juniors Crystal Heim, Brittany Driesbach, Lydia Long and Pam Crawford; and sophomores Lindsay Kennedy and Brittney Horth. Junior varsity letters were given to juniors Cassie House, Breanna Spence and Samantha Taylor; sophomores Nat Bangthamai and Megan Hall; and freshmen Ashton Fox, Shayla Luellen and Kayla Truax.

Special awards were given to varsity players as well. The award for Mental Attitude was presented to Brittney Horth. Most Improved was awarded to Brittany Driesbach, and the Most Valuable Player to Crystal Heim.

Special awards were also presented to junior varsity players. The award for Mental Attitude was given to Pam Crawford. Cassie House was named Most Improved, and the most valuable player award had co-winners, including Crawford and Bangthamai.
