 Wyatt Earns All-Wrac Honors

May 21, 2008 - Knightstown’s Joey Wyatt and Eastern Hancock’s Nathan Hungate and John Jenkins joined three Lapel players on the White River Athletic Conference All-Tourney Team after performing well in the event May 17 at Royal Hylands Golf Club.

The WRAC schools all battled extremely windy conditions throughout the meet, but the Bulldogs were able to master the conditions on their way to a 38-stroke win. Lapel shot a 325, getting a two-over par 73 from junior Brodie Williams.

His teammates Mason Lloyd and Brock Forrer both shot an 82 and tied for second place. Panther Wyatt fired an 83, and Royals Hungate and Jenkins both came in at 84.

The Royals placed second with a total of 363, six strokes better than third place Knightstown’s 369. Shenandoah was fourth with a 397 and Wes-Del was fifth at 471.
