 Angels Top Choppers in Girls Major League Action

 

May 16, 2007 - Brooke Parsons had three hits, two RBI and scored two runs to pace the Knightstown Gentle Family Dentist Angels to a 26-8 victory over the Coor Consulting Choppers in Optimist Club Major League Softball action last Saturday.

The win was the first of the season for the Angels.

Three players scored four runs apiece for the Angels, who scored early and often in the big win.

Michaela Colestock, Katie Kortz and Macy Burton all crossed the plate four times in the game.

Sarah Simpson, Libbie Fender and Hannah Morgan scored three runs apiece, while Shelby Patton scored twice and Taylor Halcomb also plated one run.

Bethany Jackson and Bryanne Loveall each batted in two runs for the Choppers.

Runs were also scored by Patty Jones, Ashley Dean, Jackie Hastings, Alyson Chapple, Megan Taylor, Bethany Jackson, and Brittney Dean, who scored twice.
