 Extension Homemakers Meet

June 18, 2008 - The regular monthly meeting of the Town and Country Extension Homemakers was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the home of Sue Willcox. President, Pam Bever, called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The pledge to the American flag and the Homemaker's Creed were recited in unison.

For devotions Sue read from the book "Chicken Soup for the Souls for Grandmothers" an article entitled "Angels in the Clouds."

The roll call was answered by eight members on "What outdoor chore do you enjoy?" For cultural arts Kathryn read some "Humor in Uniform." For health and safety Sandra VanHoy presented the lesson on "Minimize your exposure to chemicals in plastics."

The lesson on "Quick and Healthy Meals" was given by Melody. The next meeting will be the summer outing on Tuesday, June 17, meeting at 8:00 a.m. at the home of Melody Zapf. The meeting was adjourned to delicious refreshments served by Sue.

Those attending the meeting were Kathryn Waits, Sonnie Thompson, Pam Bever, Diana Lee, Melody Zapf, Brenda Reece, Sandra VanHoy and Judy Martin.
