Knightstown Locker Snacks Win Top Award
May 7, 2008 - Dan Titus, owner of Knightstown Meats & Catering (also known as Knightstown Locker), recently won a grand champion award for his beef snack sticks at the annual convention of the Indiana Meat Packers and Processors Association in West Lafayette.
Titus entered his products in the Hoosier Cured Meat Show, which is part of the convention. A total of 129 products were entered. They were judged on flavor and workmanship by meat scientists from different areas of the country as well as Purdue University food science students. Titus’s products are available at his business, 8037 S. 575 W., Knightstown.
