Meri Null Wins District BPW Essay

April 2, 2008 - Meri Null of Knightstown was introduced as the winner of the Business & Professional Women Essay Contest for District 4 at the group’s annual meeting on March 15. The competition is open to all eighth grade students in an eight-county area of east central Indiana. Null and her parents, Terry and Jill Null, were honored guests at the luncheon meeting in Hagerstown. Null presented her winning essay, on the topic of role models.

Null and her parents will also be special guests of the state BPW organization at an awards luncheon during the state convention in April, where winners from the seven districts will be recognized and state winners will be named.

During the district meeting, Barbara Mofield of Knightstown, executive secretary of Business & Professional Women of Indiana, presented the program as a representative of the statewide organization. The meeting was held in Hagerstown and was well attended by members of the five local BPW organizations in District 4: Knightstown, New Castle, Fortville, Hagerstown and Winchester.
