Eileen Folmer Marries; Residing in Chicago

Former Knightstown resident Eileen Folmer of Corinth, Texas, and Aron Carapia of Aurora, Ill., were wed on October 27, 2007. The couple, with their families, held a small ceremony in Bloomington at Beck Chapel on the Indiana University campus, with a reception following at the Mavris Arts and Events Center in downtown Indianapolis. Their honeymoon followed in South Beach, Fla., and they now reside in the Chicago area.

 

 

Wilfong, Bryant Exchange Vows at Historic Illinois Hotel

Kelly Danielle Wilfong, daughter of James and Teresa Kelnhofer of Tolono, Ill., and Grant and Tracy Wilfong of Shirley, was married to Michael Scott Bryant of Danville, Ill., on Aug. 11, 2006, at the Historic Lincoln Hotel in St. Joseph, Ill. The groom is the son of James and Kathy Bryant, also of Danville, Ill.

Wesley Martin, brother-in-law of the groom, officiated the ceremony.

Both the bride and groom will graduate from the University of Illinois in May. The couple resides in Ogden, Ill. They honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Maids of honor were Erika Wilfong of Anderson, sister of the bride, and Erica Cottingham of Urbana, Ill., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Katie Shutt of Tolono, Ill., Miranda Robinson of Pesotum, Ill., sister of the bride Katelyn Wilfong of Shirley, Amanda Martin of Kansas City, Mo., Maria Bryant of Danville, Ill., Shannon Wallace of Oakwood, Ill., and Brittany Wilfong of Donovan, Ill.

Best men were Donny Bryant of Danville, Ill., brother of the groom, and Jake Denney of Charleston, Ill., friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Mike Burnett of Danville, Ill., Jon Stonewall of Danville, Ill., Josh Long of Catlin, Ill., Jeff Wallace of Michigan, Joe Wallace of Oakwood, Ill., and Tony Giuliani of Jacksonville, Fla.

Ushers included Stratten Kelnhofer of Bourbonnais, Ill., Bobby Hayes of Champaign, Ill., and David Rodgers of Danville, Ill.

Flower girl was Allicia Wilfong, sister of the bride, of Shirley. Ring bearer was Sebastian Bryant, nephew of the groom, of Danville, Ill.

Program and guest register attendant was Taylor Hall of Greenfield, cousin of the bride.

 

 

Bramell, Posey Wed in New Castle

Megan Nichole Posey, daughter of Brett and Cindy Posey of Spiceland, and Joshua Paul Bramell, son of Dan and Kay Bramell of Knightstown, exchanged wedding vows on July 15, 2006. The evening ceremony was held at the South Memorial Drive Church of God in New Castle. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Mark Martin.

The bride wore an off-the-shoulder, princess-cut gown with a beaded cathedral train. The bride's bouquet consisted of white calla lilies, orange roses, and pick stargazers. The colors of the wedding were Palm Beach orange, white and pink.

Shawna Posey, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laramie Smith, Cara Hollers, and Lindsay Marlatt, all friends of the bride. The bridesmaids wore halter-top, floor-length dresses in Palm Beach orange. Stella Houchins, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The groom wore a Tommy Hilfiger black tuxedo with a Palm Beach orange tie. Todd Wooldridge served as the best man. Groomsmen were DJ Weimer and Clayton Terry, both friends of the groom. Kyle Jordan, cousin of the groom, was also a groomsman. Adam Houchins, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Tiffany and Kelsey Houchins, cousins of the bride, registered guests at the ceremony. Jayanna Posey, the bride's aunt, served as the wedding coordinator and florist for the wedding.

The bride's parents held a beautiful outside reception for the couple immediately following the ceremony at the Knightstown home of Gary and Joyce Plank. Approximately 250 guests were entertained with a buffet and music provided by Snapper Cridge.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Tri High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Ball State University in 2006 and is currently employed at SpectraBrace Ltd. as a sales representative.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Knightstown High School. He is currently employed at Harmon Steel in Indianapolis as an ironworker.

The couple expressed their thanks to everyone who attended and shared their special day with them.

Ryan Hammer, Holly Johnson Exchange Vows in Tennessee

April 11, 2007 - Holly Donette Johnson and Ryan Lee Hammer, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and formerly of Knightstown, were married on Saturday, February 24, at Williamson Chapel at Cannonsburg in Tennessee. The couple was married in a double ring ceremony at 2:30 p.m. by Jerel Olson of the Belle Aire Baptist Church.

Following the wedding, the couple joined the wedding party and members of their families for a dinner reception at The Bone Fish Grill in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The bride was given away by her father, Stewart Johnson.

Attendant for the bride was Jensi Parkhurst of Murfreesboro, Tenn., a friend of the bride. Attendant for the groom was the groom's friend, John Brishaber of Shirley.

Holly, the daughter of Stewart and Sue Johnson of Williamston, North Carolina, and formerly of Knightstown, is a 2005 graduate of Knightstown High School. She had attended Chowan University and will be attending Middle Tennessee State University in August. She is currently employed at First Fleet, Inc., in Murfreesboro.

Ryan, the son of Roger and Cindy Hammer of Knightstown, is also a 2005 graduate of Knightstown High School. He is attending M i d d l e Tennessee State University and is currently employed at Hobbytown USA in Murfreesboro.

Before returning to their home in Murfreesboro, the couple honeymooned in Nashville, Tenn.

The groom's parents are hosting a reception for the couple on Saturday, April 21, from 1-5 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Knightstown for family and friends. The bride's parents will be hosting a reception for the couple in North Carolina in May.

 

 

Chris Fiega, Marie Dennison Married in Cincinnati Church

Marie Catherine Dennison and Christopher John Fiega were married July 8 at Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Larry Tharp.

The bride is the daughter of David and Carol Dennison of Hamilton, Ohio. The groom is the son of John and Diane Fiega of Knightstown.

Marie graduated from Ross High School and the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Ohio. She is attending Xavier University and is employed at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Chris is a 1996 Knightstown High School graduate as well as the Methodist Hospital School of Paramedicine. He is a fire fighter and paramedic for the Indianapolis Fire Department.

Gail Sextro was maid of honor and bridesmaids included Jennifer Dennison, Amberly Miller, Niki Richardson, Stephanie Schwallie, Rebecca Seals and Amanda Snider. Andrew Fiega was best man and groomsmen included Joe Fiega, Tony Fiega, Chris Dennison, Jason Able, Chris Millis, Grant Rummell and Steve Snider.

Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They reside in the Geist area of Indianapolis.

Drysdale, Wood Marry in Texas

Dan and Terri Drysdale of Kennard announced the recent marriage of their daughter, Courtney Anne to Niklus Wood, son of David and Cathy Wood, formerly of Carthage and Anderson.

The wedding took place at 7 p.m. on October 28 at Cox Chapel in Dallas, Texas. A reception followed at City Place in Dallas. The couple resides in a Dallas suburb.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Bridesmaids included Chelsea Drysdale, sister of the bride, and Angelina Wood, sister of the groom.

Best man was the groom’s grandfather, Wilbur Wood.

Maternal grandparents are J.C. and Carolyn Drysdale of Kennard, and Kina and the late Chalmer Back of Knightstown. Paternal grandparent is Wilbur Wood of Anderson.

The bride and groom are both Knightstown High School and Purdue University graduates. Courtney is a fourth grade teacher in the North Dallas school district. Nik is an engineer at an oil company in Dallas.

Rivers, Mastin Wed

Trisha Lee Rivers of Knightstown and Aaron Michael Mastin of Rushville were united in marriage on September 15 at an outdoor wedding officiated by Roger Campbell.

The bride is the daughter of Larry Rivers of New Castle and Patty Rivers of Knightstown. The groom is the son of Christy Hall of Rushville and Mike Mastin of Rushville.

Maid of honor was Traci Rivers. Bridesmaids included Lindsey Rivers, Emma Shaw and Emily Hall. Flower girl was Hailey Rivers.

Best man was Andy Mastin, who also served as ringer bearer. Groomsmen included Travis Rivers, Troy Rivers and Jake Hall. Ushers included Doug Kinder and John Peggs.

A large reception followed the ceremony at the Root Memorial Building in Rushville.

The bride is a 2001 Knightstown High School graduate. She is currently a student at IU East, where she’s majoring in elementary education. The groom is a 1995 Rushville High School graduate and a Northwestern Ohio University graduate.

The bride is employed as an elementary school sign language interpreter. The groom is a self-employed farmer.

The couple honeymooned in Montana. They reside in Rushville.

 

 

Raglin, Vickers Wed in August

Tiffany Vickers and Ross Raglin exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 25, 2007. In a double ring ceremony held at Trinity Park United Methodist Church in Greenfield.

The bride carried a bouquet that consisted of white calla lilies and red roses. The colors of the wedding were apple red and champagne.

The attendants for the bride were Ashley Carter, Ashley Ennis, Hannah Smith and Wittney Webb. The flower girl was Kayla Vickers.

The attendants for the groom were Adam Carter, Brennen Todd, Chris Gilliam and Kevin Livingston. The ring bearer was Lane Dudley. Ushers included Mike Dudley, Jordan Vickers, John Dugan and Dereck Vickers.

Program and guest register attendant was Sarah Badgley.

The couple was chauffeured to the reception by the bride’s father in a 1920 Model T Ford. The reception was held at Heartland Resort in Greenfield. Along with friends and family, the couple celebrated with their parents, Ronnie and Tammy (Coy)Badgley of Shirley, Jeff and Teresa Vickers of Wilkinson and Butch and Tonia Raglin of Knightstown.

Also in attendance were their grandparents, Wanda and Clyde Clemens, Bill and Peggy Badgley, Jack and Lisa Vickers, Barbara Boswell, Sophia Raines, Margaret McCallister and Betty Kise.

The couple expressed their thanks to everyone who attended.

Before returning to their home in Greenfield, the couple honeymooned for a week in Cancun, Mexico.

 

 

Scheumann, McIntosh Wed in Knightstown

Lindsay Deon Scheumann of Carthage and Joseph Jordan McIntosh of Knightstown were united in marriage on July 21, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Knightstown.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Dee Scheumann.

The groom is the son Joe and Lynette McIntosh and Janet McIntosh.

Lindsay is a fourth grade teacher at Harris Elementary School in Greenfield.

Jordan is a CPA at Robert C. Winters Professional Corp. in Carthage.

The couple make their home in Knightstown.
