 Mike Matlock

 November 13, 1950 - November 14, 2009

Mike Matlock photo     Mike Matlock, 59, of rural Knightstown, died Nov. 14 at Regency Place in Greenfield.
     He was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Greenfield, a son of the late George and Norma (Engleking) Matlock.
     Mr. Matlock was a farmer, a corporate tax accountant and avid sports fan. He helped coach Optimist sports and enjoyed working with beef cattle and spending time with his family. He was a member of Knightstown American Legion Post 152.
     Survivors include his wife, Teri Barnes-Matlock; a son, Matthew (wife, Debbie) Matlock of Knightstown; two daughters, Manda (husband, Eric) McDaniel of Knightstown and Morgan (husband, Tom) Hill of Plainfield; four grandchildren, Brayden, Peyton, Zach and Chase; two brothers, Marty (wife, Robin) Matlock and Mel (wife, Jane) Matlock, all of Knightstown; and five nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Sid Martin officiating. Visitation is 4 p.m. until time of services.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Embrace Hospice, 1029 S. 14th St., New Castle, IN 47362.
