 James M. Bailey, Jr.

 November 13, 1937 - November 12, 2009

James M. Bailey, Jr. photo     James M. Bailey Jr., 72, of rural Kennard, died Nov. 13 at Golden Living Center in Greenfield.
     He was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Indianapolis, a son of the late James M. and Mary E. (Craig) Bailey.
     Mr. Bailey worked at Vonnegut’s Hardware in Indianapolis and retired from Granger Tools. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and the Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and other sports.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary Rose (Irwin) Bailey of Kennard; four sons, James Bailey III of Milton, Jeffrey Irwin Bailey of Kennard, Jason Scott (wife, Allison) Bailey of Mukwonago, Wis., and John Craig Bailey of Kennard; two grandsons, Kile Austin Bailey and Kole Ryan Bailey; a sister, Bonnie Sue Sanders of Columbus; his stepmother, Betty Bailey of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were Nov. 18 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial followed at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was Nov. 17 at the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 81st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209.
