 Karen L. Johnson

 September 3, 1942 - September 4, 2009

 

Karen L. (Baker) Johnson, 67, of Kennard, died September 4 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Hancock County, a daughter of the late Loring and Mary (Jarvis) Baker.

Mrs. Johnson worked at Naval Avionics in Indianapolis for several years. She was a member of the Cornfield Cloggers Club and she enjoyed sewing and crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Johnson of Kennard; a daughter, Lisa (husband, Jeff) White of Kennard; two granddaughters, Courtney White and Miranda Johnson; a grandson, Jacob Johnson; and a sister, Janet Robling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Johnson.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Danny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home.
