 Ralph M. Glick

 January 2, 1952 - August 15, 2009

Ralph M. Glick photo    Ralph M. Glick, 57, of rural Columbia City, died August 15 at Parkview Whitley Hospital.
     He was born Jan. 2, 1952, in Tyler, Texas, a son of Irvin and June Louise (Roykowski) Glick, Jr.
     At age three, Mr. Glick and his family moved to Sandusky, Ohio. They moved to Fort Wayne when he was a senior in high school, and he graduated from Snider High School in 1970. Mr. Glick married Paula S. Swincher of Knightstown and, after living here for a short time, they moved to Fort Wayne. The couple spent the last 15 years in Whitley County, near Columbia City. Mr. Glick worked at Brandeis Machinery & Supply for the past 18 years, serving as parts manager. He also worked for Scott’s Foods in Fort Wayne as a meat cutter for over 12 years.
     Survivors include his wife, Paula; two children, Mercy (husband, Rick) Bowling of Big Lake and James Glick of Columbia City; six grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Glick of Maplewood, Minn.
     Funeral services were August 18 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Columbia City with Cort Swincher officiating. Visitation was prior to services.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
