 Eric Lee Clem

 July 2, 1965 - Aug. 8, 2009

Eric Lee Clem photo    Eric Lee Clem, 44, of Markleville, died August 8 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson.
     He was born July 2, 1965, in Anderson, a son of Derek and Dixie (Cole) Clem.
     Mr. Clem was a 1983 Pendleton Heights High School graduate and a 1992 Anderson University graduate. A lifelong Markleville resident, he enjoyed reading, collecting watches, knives, swords and ink pens. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, perusing e-Bay, history and genealogy. Mr. Clem particularly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
     Survivors include his mother, Dixie Clem of Markleville; two brothers, Jason Clem of Anderson and Colby T. Clem of Markleville; an uncle, Thomas Cole of Markleville; two aunts, Kay (husband, Gene) Lester of Anderson and Diana (husband, Don) Moore of Markleville; a niece, Ciera Clem; two nephews, Mason and Jaden Clem; his paternal grandmother, Frances Clem of Markleville; and several cousins.
     He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandfather, Alvan B. Clem; and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Lena Cole.
     Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, at 1 p.m. at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Trey Oldham officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of services on August 14.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
