 Edna Mae Alexander

 December 20, 1939 - August 7, 2009

Edna Mae Alexander photo    Edna Mae Alexander, 69, died August 7 at her home.
    She was born Dec. 20, 1939, in Monticello, Ky., a daughter of the late Victoria (Jones) Lowe and Claude Lewis. She was raised by Jane (Jones) Gregory.
    Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Richardson) (husband, Richard) Trautmann of Knightstown; two grandchildren, Joshua and Diana Trautmann; two sisters, Anna (Carrender) Gann and Wanda (Lowe) Laney; and a brother, Tony Lowe.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Alexander; a brother, Bruce Jones; and a sister, Barbara Lewis.
    Graveside funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, at Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, Ky.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock Regional Hospice. Local arrangements are being handled by Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown.
