 Florence Marie Grizzell

 Aug. 4, 1930 - June 20, 2009

Florence Marie Grizzell, 78, of Laurel, died June 20 at her home.

She was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Connersville, a daughter of the late Frances Sutton Reibsomer and Edna Lucille (Purcell) Reibsomer.

Mrs. Grizzell was known as a devoted Christian. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Grizzell was known for her crocheted gifts to friends and family.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois (husband, John) Dempsey of Lewisburg, Ohio, Mildred (husband, Dale) Haler of Moscow Hills, Mo., and Ruth (husband, Bob) Ward of Greensburg; two sons, Rober Lee (wife, Dee) Grizzell of Upton, Ky., and Roy (wife, Debbie) Grizzell of Laurel; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Reibsomer; a sister, Rosella Reibsomer; and three grandchildren, Dylin and Johnny Dempsey and Brandon Haler.

Funeral services were June 23 at Urban Winkler Funeral Home in Connersville with Dale Haler, Debbie Grizzell and Samantha Godsey officiating. Burial followed at Laurel North Cemetery. Visitation was June 22 at the funeral home.
