 Shirley Ann Spegal

 May 12, 1940 – May 17, 2009

Shirley Ann Spegal, 69, of Shirley, died May 17 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born May 12, 1940, in Sturgeon, Ky., a daughter of the late Leslie and Hallie (Strong) Isaacs.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Hervey Spegal; four sons, Richard Marine and David (wife, Shelly) Spegal of Shirley, Roger (wife, Julia) Spegal of Hanover and Chad (wife, Lisa) Spegal of Cornell, Wis.; five daughters, Kim (husband, David) Bright, Penni (husband, Kelvin) Tutrow, Lori Bowling, Juli (Husband, Jim) Alberts of Shirley and Wendi (husband, Brian) Ratliff of Knightstown; two brothers, Eugene (wife, Rita) Isaacs of Pershing and Ron Isaacs of Carmel; a sister, Sharon (husband, Hobert) Fisher of Carmel; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Woodrow, Richard and Herschel.

Funeral services were May 20 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Ryan McCarty officiating. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was May 19 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
