 Shirley Lou Orr

 Apr. 4, 1936 – May 4, 2009

Shirley Lou Orr, 73, of Knightstown, died May 4 at her home.

She was born April 4, 1936, in Wells County, a daughter of the late Everett and Lenora (Readbaugh) Johnson.

A Knightstown resident most of her life, Mrs. Orr was a homemaker who belonged to Bethel Presbyterian Church in Knightstown. She was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Women’s Association and Psi Iota Xi sorority in Knightstown.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Orr of Knightstown; a son, Shawn (wife, Rebecca) Orr of Knightstown; a sister, Sharon (husband, Jerry) Beechler of Bluffton; a granddaughter, Brianna Orr of Knightstown; and two grandsons, Barrett Orr and Everett Orr, both of Knightstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Henson.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown with Rev. Peter Zinn officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the funeral home.
