 Russell E. VanDuyn

 Nov. 16, 1938 – Apr. 17, 2009

Russell E. VanDuyn, 70, of Knightstown, died April 17 at his home.

He was born Nov. 16, 1938, in Hancock County, a son of Wilma Mae VanDuyn and the late Mirl VanDuyn.

Mr. VanDuyn worked at Press Glass in Greenfield, The Paddock in Knightstown and Wal-Mart in Anderson. He was an elder of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Knightstown.

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Mae VanDuyn; a stepson, Larry (wife, Beth) Reynolds of Knoxville, Tenn.; two stepgrandchildren, Andrea (husband, Mark) Horn of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Danielle Reynolds of Cincinnati; a brother, Thomas VanDuyn of Greenfield; three sisters, Donna Gambrel of Greenfield, Carolyn Lang of Noblesville and Marilyn Dickerson of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Knightstown with Clyde Buckley officiating. Private burial will take place at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Arrangements are being handled by Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson.
