 Jack A. Wallace

 Oct. 2, 1927 – Apr. 12, 2009

Jack A. Wallace, 81, of Knightstown, died April 12 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

He was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Muncie, a son of the late Jerome and Bessie (O’Quirk) Wallace.

Mr. Wallace served in the U.S. Army in Korea and worked as a directory artist for Bell Telephone for many years. He was a member of Pioneers of America and Kennard Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Mitchell) Wallace of Knightstown; a daughter, Andrea Wallace of Knightstown; two stepdaughters, Carla Warner of Las Vegas, Nev., and Cheryl Daniels of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; a stepson, Edwin Blackwood of Australia; a granddaughter, Lili Wallace; 12 step-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Robinson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; three sisters and two step-grandsons.

Funeral services were at April 18, at Kennard Baptist Church with Bro. Randall Morris and Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown handled arrangements.
