Lorena Purtee
May 9, 1918 – Jan. 23, 2009
Lorena Purtee, died January 23 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born May 9, 1918, in Muses Mill, Ky., a daughter of the late Robert and Bessie (Jones) Brammer.
Mrs. Purtee was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She worked several years as a cook at Knightstown Elementary School and at Eli Lilly & Co. She was a member of Ogden Methodist Church.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Carolyn Stoten officiating. Visitation is 12-2 p.m. January 28 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
