 Ruth “Sally” Wilcoxon

 Jan. 12, 1934 – Jan. 9, 2009

Ruth “Sally” Wilcoxon, 74, of Greenfield, formerly of Wilkinson, died January 9 at St. Vincent’s Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis.

She was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Hudson.

Survivors include her husband, Emerson Wilcoxon, Jr.; three sons, David (wife, Pam) Wilcoxon of Arkansas, Dwight (wife, Patti) Wilcoxon of New Whiteland and Jay (wife, Brenda) Wilcoxon of Greenfield; a daughter, Julie (husband, Kevin) Ashby of Greenfield; two sisters, Betty Hudson Ray and Nancy Kiser, both of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Joyce and Janet Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Stalnaker and Katherine Hunt; and three brothers, Richard Hudson, Paul Hudson and Robert Hudson.

Funeral services were January 14 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Gary Sickle officiating. Visitation was January 13 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
