 Lucille Elizabeth Brock

 March 5, 1924 – Dec. 17, 2008

Lucille Elizabeth Brock, 84, of Indianapolis, died December 17.

She was born March 5, 1924, in Shreveport, La.

Mrs. Brock was a Maryville (Tenn.) College graduate. She held a masters degree in church social work and was a certified Christian educator. She worked for 10 years at Eli Lilly as a microbiologist. She later served as director of education at 2nd Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, of which she was also a member. Additionally, Mrs. Brock was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret R. Brock of Indianapolis; a brother, William (wife, Mary Ann) Sitler of Knightstown; and a sister, Mary Kay Eason of Spring Valley, Cal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services were December 20 at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown. Visitation was December 20 at the funeral home. Burial took place at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church in Knightstown.
