Betty (True) Russell

Betty Phyllis (True) Russell, 79, of Georgetown, Ky., died December 12.

She was born Nov. 27, 1929 in Casey County, Ky., a daughter of the late Aaron and Lula (Statom) True.

Mrs. Russell was a homemaker and a member of Hustonville (Ky.) Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Sue Robertson of Georgetown and Judy (husband, Dennis) Melear of Fisherville, Ky.; a brother, James True of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Ida Knott of Knightstown and Barbara Jean DeWees of Eaton; three grandchildren, Kerry Robertson, Suzanne (husband, Chris) Bridwell and Dr. Jason (wife, Dawn) Melear; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were December 15 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland, Ky., with Brother Eddie Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in Hustonville Cemetery.
