As a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, she served on the vestry and was president of the Episcopal Church Women and St. Alban’s Guild. Mrs. Mann also served on the board of Lighthouse for the Blind and was a finalist for the Legacy Award, which recognizes citizens who have made outstanding contributions to their communities.

Additionally, Mrs. Mann volunteered at Sul Ross Elementary School in Waco. She taught bilingual second graders to read. She also volunteered at Provident Heights Elementary and was a member of the H.O.T. Independent Living Center and the Organ Transplant Support Group. Mrs. Mann enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests and was an organ and tissue donor.
