 Imogene Pfaff

 January 7, 1927 – Dec. 9, 2008

Imogene Pfaff, 81, of Greenfield, died December 9 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Savannah, Tenn., a daughter of the late James A. and Dona (Dildine) Godwin.

Mrs. Pfaff was a Keiser (Ark.) High School graduate and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield. She was known as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing and baking chocolate chip cookies for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Don Pfaff of Greenfield; three sons, David (wife, Jane) Pfaff of Willow Branch, Douglas (wife, George) Pfaff of Fredericksburg, Va., and Paul (wife, Judy) Pfaff of Greenfield; a sister, Kathryn Jordan of Martinsville; a brother, Larry (wife, Joyce) Godwin of Fairland; eight grandchildren, Aaron (wife, Cara) Pfaff, Amanda Pfaff, Doug Pfaff, Caitlin Pfaff, Andrew Pfaff, Kyle Pfaff, Lauren Pfaff and Samuel Pfaff; a great-grandchild, Ava Pfaff; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Barger; and five brothers, Harbert, Lester, Arch, Murray and Ben Godwin.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday, December 12, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 11, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 9135 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46209.
