 Ella O. Nale

 Oct. 22, 1936 – Nov. 30, 2008

Ella O. Nale, 72, of Raleigh, died November 30 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Oct. 22, 1936, in Hazard, Ky. She was the adopted daughter of the late Tom and Susan (Begley) Rice.

Mrs. Nale was a homemaker. She and her husband, Charles, lived in Knightstown before moving to Raleigh. She was known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Nale was a member of Centerville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Nale; two daughters, Patty (husband, John) Jones of Anderson and Rachel (husband, Rick) Charles of Anderson; a son, Charles David (wife, Kelly) Nale of Muncie; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Begley of Knightstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Nathan Nale.

Funeral services were December 3 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Lewisville. Burial with graveside services followed Blue River Baptist Church Cemetery near Salem with Bro. Morris Scales officiating. Visitation was December 2 at the funeral home.
