 Mary A. McGee

 May 11, 1925 – Nov. 4, 2008

Mary A. McGee, 83, of Margate, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis, died November 4.

She was born May 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Thomas Edgar and Nellie (Jones) Magee.

Mrs. McGee worked for RCA, then Western Electric for 20 years. She retired in 1970. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia S. (husband, Richard) Fowler; a son, Paul J. (wife, Sarah) Dobson; two brothers, Edgar (wife, Nora) Magee and Thomas (wife, Vonda) Magee; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Buchanan; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Inis Watson; a brother-in-law, Albert Smith; and three brothers, Dr. Walter Magee, William Magee and Cecil Magee.

Funeral services were November 15 at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel in Indianapolis. Visitation was November 14 at the funeral home.
