 Arnold E. Cross

 Oct. 3, 1937 – Nov. 3, 2008

Arnold E. Cross, 71, of Markleville, died November 3 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson.

He was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Greensburg, a son of the late Barnell and Annabell (Campbell) Cross.

Mr. Cross was a lifetime member and past commander of Disabled American Veterans and American Legion of Florida. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cross of Markleville; four sons, William, Christopher and Jeffery Cross, all of Crystal Springs, Miss., and Frank (wife, Karen) Cross of Plant City, Fla.; two daughters, Carolle Cross of Crystal Springs, Miss., and Sherrie Cross of Fairfield, Cal.; three stepsons, Larry (wife, Shirley) Webb of Fort Gibson, Okla., Barry (wife, Patricia) Webb of Tampa, Fla., and Kerry Webb of Riverview, Fla.; a brother, Glen Edward (wife, Sandy) Cross of Florida; 15 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Terry Webb.

Funeral services were November 7 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Jack Clay officiating. Visitation was November 7 at the funeral home. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
