 Margaret C. Sorrell

 Sept. 20, 1914 – Oct. 12, 2008

Margaret C. Sorrell, 94, of Shirley, died October 12 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Charles and Flora (Keesling) Clark.

Mrs. Sorrell was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting. She was a member of Shirley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a grandson, Tim (wife, Stacey) Sorrell of Carthage; a granddaughter, Tonia (husband, Kirt) Sorrell-Neal of Issaquah, Wash.; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sorrell; a son, Charles Sorrell; two brothers, Maurice Clark and James Clark; a sister, Coffine Jones; and a daughter-in-law, Jenna Lee Sorrell.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, October 17, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Jenny Charles officiating. Visitation is Friday, October 17, from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
