 PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 17, 2008

 Lola Brammer

 March 3, 1922 – Sept. 7, 2008

Lola Brammer    Lola Brammer, 86, of Longmont, Colo., died September 7 at Peaks Care Center in Longmont.
She was born March 3, 1922, in Muses Hill, Ky., a daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel (Kirk) Dunaway.
Mrs. Brammer attended a one-room school house in Muses Mill through the eighth grade. She married Lyle Brammer of Knightstown on Jan. 1, 1939. Most her life was devoted to raising her three sons and a grandson. She had various jobs, including Wayne’s Café, Montgomery Ward and Co., and K-Mart, all in Boulder, Colo. Mrs. Brammer was known for her love of sports. She especially enjoyed watching her sons play sports while growing up in Boulder, and later her grandson on Longmont. She was an avid Broncos, Nuggets and Rockies fan who, when possible, watched every game from start to finish.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Brammer of Longmont and Keith (wife, Laurie) Brammer of New Berlin, Wisc.; two grandsons, Brent Brammer of Anaheim, Cal., and Chris (wife, Stacy) Brammer of Arvada, Colo; five great-grandchildren; and three former daughters-in-law, Gail Squires of Boulder, Sharon Brammer of Lyons, Colo., and Pam Brammer of Longmont.
Private graveside services were September 12 at Foothills Garden of Memory with Chaplain Len Schreiner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Front Range Hospice, 215 Cheeseman St., Suite H., P.O. Box 724, Erie, CO 80516.
