Frank H. Jordon
Jan. 1, 1924 – Sept. 4, 2008
Frank H. Jordon, 84, of Greenfield, died September 4 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Harris, Ky., a son of the late Lewis and Lone (Howard) Jordon.
Mr. Jordon served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenfield and was a retired carpenter. Mr. Jordon enjoyed fishing and fixing small engines. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include four daughters, Janice (husband, Tom) Barton of Knightstown, Cheryl (husband, Norbert) Kedrowicz of Lufkin, Tx., Gina (husband, Jeff) Colclazier of Greenfield and Debra (husband, James) Cavaletto of Fountaintown; five sons, Jerry (wife, Linda) Jordon of Shirley, Stephen Miller of Alpena, Mich., Bruce (wife, Debbie) Jordon of Ossineke, Mich., Timothy (wife, Pamela) Jordon of Winter Springs, Fla., and Randall (wife, Helen) Jordon of Oveido, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nila (Van Duyn) Jordon; two brothers, John Jordon and Birch Jordon; and two sisters, Judy Southard and Jewel Barnes.
Funeral services were September 9 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, in Greenfield with Dr. Glenn C. Riggs officiating. Military graveside rites, provided by Knightstown American Legion Post 152, accompanied burial at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation was September 8 at the funeral home.
