 Phillip L. Calloway

 May 13, 1951 – Aug. 21, 2008

Phillip L. Calloway, 57, of Indianapolis, died August 21.

He was born May 13, 1951 in Logan, W.V., a son of Carl and Helen (Fifo) Calloway.

Formerly of Beckley, W.V., Mr. Calloway worked as a tool and die maker at Allison. He enjoyed music, spending time outdoors and with his family. He attended Christian Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip (wife, Amanda) Calloway of Indianapolis and Nathaniel Calloway of Indianapolis; a daughter, Leah Calloway of Knightstown; seven grandchildren, Shayla, Devon, Breanna, Natalie and Breydon Calloway and Trenton and Alyssa Wells; a sister, Brenda Friend of Indianapolis; two brothers, David (wife, Chris) Calloway of Lebanon and Jerry (wife, Linda) Calloway of Beckley, W.V.; and his parents, Carl and Helen Calloway of McCordsville.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Calloway, Jr., Michael Calloway and Kelly Calloway; and two sisters, Betty Lewis and Judy Kay Calloway.

Graveside services were August 25 at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Viewing took place at the cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Tabernacle Church, 802 S. Franklin Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46239.
