 Lois Elaine Ray

 Feb. 24, 1921 – Aug. 25, 2008

Lois Elaine Ray, 87, of New Castle, died August 25 at The Waters of New Castle.

She was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Loren and Letha (Bolen) Ray.

Mrs. Ray was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Kennard Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy (wife, Deborah) Ray of Troy, Ohio, and Steven (wife, Carol) Ray of Lilburn, Ga.; two daughters, Leslie Rider of Anderson and Nancy Rogers of Arvada, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Ray; and a brother, Richard Zirkle.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Marion McFarland officiating. Visitation is 12-1 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry County Memorial Hospital Hospice.
