Joseph E. Hamm
July 9, 1952 - Aug. 6, 2008
Joseph E. Hamm, 56, of Holland, Mich., died August 6.
He was born July 9, 1952, in New Castle, a son of the late Roy and Myrtle (Kirk) Hamm, who were longtime Knightstown residents.
Mr. Hamm was raised in Knightstown and was a 1970 Knightstown High School graduate. While at KHS, he excelled in several sports and earned letters. After high school, he attended Indiana State University. Mr. Hamm was employed by Espec North America in Hudsonville, Mich., since 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa; a daughter, Jennifer (husband, Jeremy) Roudebush of Holland, Mich.; a son, Matthew (wife, Jill) Hamm of Holland; a granddaughter, Kate Roudebush; and several other relatives.
Funeral services were August 11 at First Presbyterian Church in Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana School for the Blind or the Hoosier Gym in Knightstown.
