 Sheila D. McCune

  Oct. 28, 1952 – Aug. 3, 2008

Sheila D. McCune, 55, of Knightstown, died August 3 at Henry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 28, 1952, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Durward C. and Dorothy Mabel (Price) Brewer.

Ms. McCune retired from a veterinary clinic in Carmel. She also worked at Village Pantry and Sid Harvey Heating & Cooling in Indianapolis. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time on her computer. Ms. McCune also enjoyed spending time with her guinea pig, puppy and fish.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa D. Judd of Milan; a granddaughter, Mykayla B. Judd; a sister, Twila Walker; a niece, Julie Walker; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Hedrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Judd and Benjamin McCune; and a sister, Tamara Hedrick.

Funeral services are at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sheila McCune Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
