Willis A. Fultz

Dec. 16, 1925 – July 17, 2008

Willis A. Fultz, 82, of rural Knightstown, died July 17 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle.

He was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Morehead, Ky., a son of the late Calvin and Linda (Burton) Fultz.

Mr. Fultz retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1980 after 33 years of service. He attended Knightstown Church of God and enjoyed hunting, working with livestock and gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (wife, Brenda) Fultz of Spiceland and Tony (wife, Diana) Futlz of Carthage; four grandchildren, Chris Fultz of Spiceland, James Fultz of Knightstown, Brooke Fultz of Knightstown and Ryan Fultz of Carthage; a great-grandson, Michael Adam Bivens Fultz; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie N. (Ferguson) Fultz; five sisters, Thelma, Dellie, Hazel, Pearl and Stellie; four brothers, Roy, Coy, Earl and Charlie; and a grandson, Ronald Earl Fultz.

Funeral services were July 19 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Pastors Elwood Evans and Early Hall officiating. Burial followed at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was July 19 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
