Geary E. Crump

June 29, 1940 – July 3, 2008

Geary E. Crump, 68, of Knightstown, died July 3 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

He was born June 29, 1940, in Wilson, Ark., a son of the late Paul and Ruby (Morris) Crump.

Mr. Gear owned Crump Concrete and worked in the concrete finishing business local for over 40 years. He also finished concrete in Florida and Texas. Mr. Crump was a member of the Greenfield Conservation Club and he was an avid card player.

Survivors include his wife, Roma J. (Roberts) Crump of Knightstown; two sisters, Faye Crump and Joyce Crump of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Eddie Crump of Okeechobee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny Crump and Jimmie Crump.

Funeral services were July 7 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, in Greenfield. Burial followed at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Visitation was July 6 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
