Barbara R. Peck

July 10, 1938 – June 18, 2008

Barbara R. Peck, 69, of Wilkinson, died June 18 at The Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born July 10, 1938, a daughter of Thelma (Marshall) Meeks and the late Alvin Meeks.

Mrs. Peck retired from Kroger in Greenfield. She also worked at Fort Harrison Finance Center in Lawrence. Mrs. Peck worked with special education children and also managed Lindner’s Dairy and served as office manager for McCall Water Conditioning in Greenfield. She was a member of AGAPE Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Survivors include two sons, Jon Peck of Indianapolis and James (wife, Sherrill) Peck of Noblesville; two daughters, Jeanne Peck of Chicago and Jana Zweck of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Brittany Zweck, Nick Zweck, Matthew Peck, Nathanael Peck and Anna Peck; a brother, Floyd Meeks of Greenfield; a sister, Roseann McHenry of Indianapolis; one nephew; and three nieces.

Funeral services were June 23 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial followed at McCray Cemeter in Wilkinson. Visitation was June 22 at the funeral home.
