Ines Rinard

June 11, 1936 – May 3, 2008

She was born June 11, 1936, in Quasqueton, Iowa, a daughter of the late George and Iris (Kress) Scott.

Mrs. Rinard lived in Knightstown since 1994 and attended Knightstown Christian Church. She worked at Western Electric in the maintenance department, and she later retired from there. She enjoyed spending time with her family and target shooting.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Rinard of Knightstown and Damon Rinard of Centerville, Ga.; a daughter, Karen (husband, Jerry) Zeilinga of Knightstown; two brothers, Elden (wife, Evelyn) Scott of Anamosia, Iowa, and Thomas (wife, Sheryl) Scott of Center Point, Iowa; a sister, Zelda (husband, Harold) Powers of Quasueton, Iowa; and three granddaughters, Sarah Hartsock, Sunshine Zeilinga and Katie Zeilinga.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William.

Funeral services were May 6 at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown with Rev. Richard Thayer officiating. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation was May 5 at the funeral home.
