Robert David Hall
April 28, 1939 – April 12, 2008
Robert David “Dave” Hall, 68, of Knightstown, formerly of Carthage, died Saturday, April 12, at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle.
He was born April 28, 1939, in New Lexington, Ohio, a son of Robert Benson and Mae (Rowe) Hall.
Mr. Hall retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years of service. He was a classic car enthusiast and a member of Knightstown American Legion Post 152. He was also a past master of Rush County Masonic Lodge #580.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Hall of Knightstown; two sons, Robert Douglas (wife, Velma) Hall of Inez, Ky., and Robert Daryl (wife, Susan) Hall of Greenfield; two stepsons, Randy Earl (wife, Aundrea) Dailey of New Castle and David Scott (wife, Veronica) Dailey of Lewisville; and 18 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Mitchell.
Funeral services were April 16 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating. Burial followed in Washington Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. Visitation was April 15 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Henry County Cancer Society.
