Lillian L. Rucker

March 7, 1934 – March 17, 2008

Lillian L. Rucker, 74, of Brownsburg, died March 17 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born March 7, 1934, in Pontotoc, Miss., a daughter of the late Jessie Swain and Ora (Erby) Barnes.

Mrs. Rucker moved to Brownsburg area 10 years ago from the Spiceland and Dunreith area. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, William E. Rucker, Jr., of Jonesboro, Ark., and David C. (wife, Denise) Barnes of Brownsburg; a daughter, Evyonne D. Jones of Brownsburg; a brother, Dudley Swain of Waldron; a sister, Lucille Rose of Spiceland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Rucker.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the funeral home.
