Nadine May
Jan. 23, 1916 – March 4, 2008
Nadine May, 92, of Lewisville, died March 4 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle.
She was born Jan. 23, 1916, in Rush County, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Nellie (Garver) May.
Miss May graduated was a 1934 Raleigh High School graduate. She worked as a caregiver and teachers’ aid in Henry County schools. Miss May lived in New Lisbon for a number of years prior to moving to Lewisville in 1962. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two nieces, Beverly (husband, Randy) Watters of Indianapolis and Marlene Graham of Fishers; three nephews, Jack L. (wife, Pat) May of Blandon, Pa., Lowell May of Riley, Kan., and George May of Hagerstown; and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Guy LeRoy, Vinton and Arthur May; and two infant siblings, Ross and Maxine.
Funeral services were March 7 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, southeast of Lewisville, with Rev. Marion L. Hickman officiating. Burial followed at Lewisville Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 a.m. until time of services on March 7. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home handled arrangements.
