Delphina Mae Elliott

June 8, 1906 – Feb. 28, 2008

Delphina Mae (Addison) Elliott, 101, of Arlington, died February 28 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rushville.

She was born June 8, 1906, in Hancock County, a daughter of the late Charles T. and Beulah (Collins) Addison.

Mrs. Elliott spent most of her life in Posey Township, Rush County, except for a few months at her place of birth. She married Cecil E. Elliott on Dec. 19, 1966. She was employed at the old Arlington Bank and Arlington State Bank for over 23 years. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Arlington Christian Church since 1924. She was a past member of Kappa Kappa Sigma and served as state treasurer of the organization. She was also active in Business and Profession Womean (BPW) and the Home Helpers Club.

Survivors include four nieces, Amy (husband, Joseph) Licameli; Nan Prout; Dr. Rita Addison and Sarah (husband, Michael) Prout.

Graveside funeral services were March 3 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Pastor Bob Brock officiating. Visitation was March 2 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville.
