Ora Lee Mann

Jan. 22, 1920 – Feb. 18, 2008

Ora Lee Mann, 88, of Shirley, died February 18 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Grove, Okla., a daughter of the late Ora Mathew and Florence (Landon) Gray.

Ms. Mann owned and operated Mann’s Grocery in Shirley for many years. She served in the U.S. Army ASA WAC during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Calvin (wife, Claudine) Gray of Shirley; a special niece, Edith McCurdy of Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Mann; two brothers, Chloe Gray and John Gray; and two sisters, Willa Mae Hart and Viola Keerns.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Bud Probasco officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation is noon until time of services on Friday, February 22 at the funeral home.
