Mildred L. Ridlen

June 13, 1921 – Feb. 3, 2008

Mildred L. (Price) Ridlen, 86, died February 3 at Brandywine Health Care Center in Greenfield.

She was born June 13, 1921, in Wilkinson, a daughter of the late Oscar and Thelma (Whitlow) Price.

Mrs. Ridlen was a homemaker and a member of the Kennard and Wilkinson Brotherhood and Sisterhood. She was also a member of Shirley Order of the Eastern Star. Her first job out of high school was at Keith White Petroleum Company. She lived in Anderson, Shirley and Wilkinson. She was raised by her grandparents, Vern and Gretie Price.

Survivors include a special friend, Jack Delph of Wilkinson; a half-sister, Nancy Davison of Bloomington; two half-brothers, Robert Whitlow of Bloomington and Phillip Whitlow of rural Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at the funeral home.
