Marian L. Lansinger

June 19, 1928 – Feb. 2, 2008

Marian L. (Kelly) Lansinger, 79, of Raysville, died February 2 at her home.

She was born June 19, 1928, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Chester and Ruth (Stull) Kelly.

Mrs. Lansinger was a member of Psi Iota Xi sorority, Altrusa Club, book club and a knitting club. She was an avid bird watcher and she enjoyed watching wildlife. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing. She worked at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield for 13 years. Mrs. Lansinger also worked at Twin Brook Nursing Home at Mt. Comfort and the VA hospital in Danville, Ill. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill.

Survivors include three daughters, Lynn Robertson of Greenwood, Gale (husband, Tim) Deckard of Billings, Mt., and Dawn Lansinger of Knightstown; two sons, Kent Lansinger of Roanoke, Va., and Jay (wife, Elaine) Lansinger of Whitingham, Vt.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Kelly of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; and a sister, Margaret Kelly.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of services on Friday, February 8.
