Jim Richmond

March 15, 1917 – Dec. 9, 2006

Jim Richmond, 39, of Knightstown, died December 9.

He was born March 15, 1967, in Rushville, a son of Cecil and Betty (Rhodes) Richmond.

Mr. Richmond was a member of Hope Faith Chapel in Carmel. He enjoyed driving a semi and cook-outs with family and friends.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Jane (husband, Don) Ruhlman of Rushville, Joni (husband, Chris) Voris of Knightstown and Jana (companion, Shank Jones) Back of Knightstown; a brother, John (fiance, Peggy Barnhouse) Richmond of Knightstown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Haley Richmond; maternal grandparents, Russell and Edna Rhodes; and paternal grandparents, Cecil and Bessie Richmond.

Funeral services were December 13 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel, with Rev. Gene Bennett officiating. Burial followed in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was December 12 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Cancer Society or the Henry County Hospital Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
