Mildred F. Howard

Feb. 21, 1932 – Nov. 24, 2006

Mildred F. Howard, 74, of Knightstown, died November 24 at Regency Place in Greenfield.

She was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Rexville, a daughter of the late John B. and Freda O. (Vestal) Noble.

Mrs. Howard enjoyed collecting dishes and figurines as well as attending garage sales and flea markets. She also enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Arlie M. Howard of Knightstown; a son, Michael (wife, Karla S.) Howard of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Jade R., Lacey N. and Noah M. Howard, all of Greenfield; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were November 27 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Burial followed in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was November 26 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
