Ronald W. Ubelhor
March 16, 1935 – Nov. 11, 2006
Ronald W. Ubelhor, 71, of Wilkinson, deid November 11 at his home.
He was born March 16, 1935, in Beech Grove, a son of the late Walter and Agnes (Kelly) Ubelhor.
Mr. Ubelhor was a Wilkinson High School graduate. He served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1992 from Delco Remy in Anderson after 35 years of service. Mr. Ubelhor was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Eagles and Moose lodge 987. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and a devoted family man.
Survivors include a son, Martin (wife, Paula) Ubelhor of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Rhonda (husband, Jerry) Crosby of Greenfield; a sister, Carole (husband, Jack) Gilliland of Greenfield; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila (Schultz) Ubelhor; a daughter, Mary Jane Ubelhor; a brother, Loren Ubelhor; and a sister, Connie Snider.
A funeral mass took place November 15 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. Burial followed at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation was November 14 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield. A rosary service was November 14.
