Linda Jane Cox

Oct. 28, 1939 – Sept. 28, 2006

Linda Jane (Foulke) Cox, 66, of Knightstown died September 28 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Noblesville, a daughter of the late Russell and Hildreth (Williams) Foulke.

Mrs. Cox was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing piano.

Survivors include her husband, William Cox, Sr., of Knightstown; a daughter, Judy (husband, Jeff) Elliott of Bowling Green, Ky.; a son, Matthew Taylor of Martinsville; a stepdaughter, Debbie (husband, Jeff) Wilkerson of Knightstown; a stepdaughter-in-law, Lisa Cox of Knightstown; nine grandchildren, Jason (wife, Heather) Elliott, Justin (wife, Cara) Elliott, Joshua (wife, Sarah) Elliott, Jonathon Elliott, John Taylor, Trista Cox, Ashlee Wilkerson, Taylor Cox and Jace Wilkerson; seven great-grandchildren, Delainey, Madisen, Reagan, Mackenzy, Emma, Grant and Dakota Elliott; three brothers, Norris (wife, Wilma) Foulke, Arnold (wife, Loretta) Foulke and Larry (wife, Anita) Foulke; and a sister, Karen (husband, Rod) Isenhour.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Taylor; and a stepson, Bill Cox, Jr.

Funeral services were October 2 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Burial followed at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was October 1 at the funeral home.
